Snellville, GA — October 28, 2025 — Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, through the Impact Foundation, presented the first-ever Adopt-A-School Grant under the fraternity’s new national initiative — a $10,000 award — to Anderson-Livsey Elementary School. The check and banner presentation celebrated the growing partnership between the school and the Rho Beta Sigma Alumni Chapter, which has supported academic enrichment and family engagement through ongoing programs and the on-campus Phi Beta Sigma – Rho Beta Sigma Family Engagement Center.

Key leaders from the fraternity and the community attended the presentation, including Justin M. Gibson, Chairman of the Phi Beta Sigma Impact Foundation; Dr. Emmanuel Rowe, International Director of Education; Christopher Pugh, President of Rho Beta Sigma Alumni Chapter; Brother James Rayford, Rho Beta Sigma Director of Education; Christopher Jackson, Principal of Anderson-Livsey Elementary School; Brother Christian Harden, State Director of Education for Georgia; and Brother Sedric Scott, Southern Region Director of Education.

“This grant is more than a donation — it’s an investment in students’ futures,” said Christopher Pugh. “It affirms our fraternity’s commitment to education and community impact.”

The event drew faculty, students, community partners, and local media, marking a milestone for Phi Beta Sigma’s renewed focus on sustained, strategic educational impact across the Southern Region.
